Our agricultural experience covers operations including Chemical Spraying, Frost Control, Fertilizer Distribution and Aerial Seeding. Heli-Aust has also been heavily involved in plague locust control operations for many years, which allows us to provide pilots with extensive remote area and `hostile environment' experience.

Under the banner of the founding company Heli-Muster, rural and agricultural flying has been a major area of the company’s operations for over 30 years.
Heli-Muster was one of the founders of aerial mustering in the Northern Territory, WA Kimberley region and in the remote Gulf country in Queensland with bases in Darwin, Katherine, Victoria River Downs NT, Kununurra WA, and Maggieville Qld.
Successfully contracted to the Northern Territory Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries (DPI&F) for the duration of the Brucellosis and Tuberculosis Eradication Campaign (BTEC), the company employed 35 helicopter pilots and operated 25 piston engine helicopters, flying up to 25,000 hours per annum.
Company pilots with this grounding and experience have been sought after and operated successfully in many different flying roles around the world.
We have accumulated more flying hours in the field of feral animal control and tracking than any other operator. Contracted to DPI&F (NT), and Pasture Protection Board (PPB) of WA for the purpose of Feral Animal Control, we were involved in the eradication of wild donkeys, pigs, and buffalo during BTEC as well as camel and brumby culling in central Australia.
